Neeson and Bloom Heading to Sarajevo

Actors Liam Neeson and Orlando Bloom have signed on to star in Brazilian director Andrucha Waddington’s untitled film based on the Bill Carter book Fools Rush In, which was penned when Carter was an aid worker in Sarajevo during the short-lived Balkan war.

As reported by Variety, Orlando Bloom will pull double-duty on the project also serving as co-producer.

Although filming won’t get underway until later in 2008 in Sarajevo, casting is ramping up as Variety also reports actor Javier Bardem is currently in talks for a supporting part in the film.

Neeson and Bloom previously appeared together in the 2005 Ridley Scott epic Kingdom of Heaven.
