Lost Star Matthew Fox Inks New Deal
August 15, 2008

If you ever get stuck on an island in Hollywood, just shake the nearest tree and money will rain down on you. Two years after receiving a pay raise for his work on ABC’s hit Lost, actor Matthew Fox, 42, inked a new deal and is now making 50% more coin after Hollywood Reporter revealed Fox received a raise that gives him in the range of $225,000 per episode. Although Matthew Fox wasn’t as big of a star in 2006, feature film roles in We Are Marshall, Vantage Point, and Speed Racer proved that Fox can make the transition to the big screen (it wasn’t Fox’s fault Speed Racer sucked).

With 34 episodes remaining before Lost wraps for good in 2010, Fox will be earning considerably more, which will undoubtedly off-set any contentious salary issues before the finale. While E-News reports that Fox was in quiet negotiations, it appears other series regulars are also quietly renegotiating for more money, including Evangeline Lilly, who plays the romantic love interest, Kate, to Fox’s Dr. Jack Shephard.

Filming in Hawaii, making $250,000 per episode... tough life I tell ya.
