Will the Werewolf Transformation Propel New Moon Over Twilight?

With the November 20 release of the Twilight Saga New Moon fast approaching, Summit Entertainment gave Twilight fans a new New Moon werewolf transformation clip, which is now available on iTunes. Since the New Moon clip features the transformation of Taylor Lautner and Alex Meraz into huge Twilight sized wolves, will the transformation effects alone help to make New Moon better than Twilight?
Although Twilight transformed Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner into household names, obviously the enhanced CGI and special effects in New Moon will eclipse the bar set by Twilight. Since Twilight focused more on the relationship between the Robert Pattinson character Edward Cullen and the Kristen Stewart embodied Bella Swan and the emotional interplay, New Moon opens the door to more Twilight Saga action given the triangle between Pattinson, Stewart, and Taylor Lautner and his character, Jacob Black. Judging by the newly released ET clip of New Moon, which features the CG wolf transformation of Lautner, New Moon should appeal more to the male Twilight Saga demographic as New Moon director Chris Weitz promised weeks ago. To tell the Twilight Saga truth, the effects of the werewolf transformation of Jacob in New Moon are better than we were expecting.
While Twilight did a masterful job of appealing to the female Twilight Saga audience, New Moon has the makings to be more of a complete package since the romantic elements are also at play along with the New Moon action. Will the werewolf transformation elevate New Moon over Twilight? It's still hard to say but its likely we'll see more male Twilight Saga fans in theaters when New Moon is released. Also, just on New Moon visuals alone, the Twilight fact that Taylor Lautner and the New Moon wolf pack will be shirtless for most of the movie will undoubtedly elevate New Moon over Twilight for female Twilighters.
