New Moon Star Robert Pattinson Under Online Twilight Siege?

With so much Twilight Saga hype surrounding the upcoming Twilight sequel New Moon and actor Robert Pattinson, is Pattinson under online siege? Given the amount of hourly Twilight headlines devoted to Robert Pattinson and New Moon stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, Robert Pattinson, specifically in terms of the "name" only, is under siege by not only the media but also (understandably) Twilight fans and (not so understandably) content cannibals.
I'll admit, it's hard to write a Twilight piece about Robert Pattinson being under siege by the media when you're the media. Is it hypocritical? Sure. But it doesn't take away from the hundreds of Twilight and New Moon stories being written about Robert Pattinson by the hour. Luckily, from my Twilight Saga perspective of Robert Pattinson, this is where spending four years in sociology and psychology comes in handy when you're in the online entertainment business and writing about a star like Robert Pattinson. For me, it's all about Twilight Saga related observation.
Like I mentioned in my previous piece, Will Robert Pattinson Survive the Twilight Saga Hype?, the amount of Pattinson related Twilight stories may do more harm than good by the end of the Twilight Saga. Although many Twilight and New Moon Pattinson fans dream about being a movie star on the scale of Robert Pattinson, would you really want people writing about you THAT much? Like I said, it's hard to write a Twilight piece about Robert Pattinson being under online siege when you're the media. Would I want to be in the shoes of Robert Pattinson right now? Well, on one obvious level sure. As far as the Twilight fame of Robert Pattinson? No way. Look at the relationship between Michael Jackson and the media for an extreme example.
But for actors like Robert Pattinson in the current Twilight Saga era, Twilight fame and New Moon celebrity is drastically different than previous decades due to the internet where Twilight and New Moon stories about Robert Pattinson run rampant. Not too long ago Twilight fans would have had to wait for a weekly New Moon edition of a magazine to get their Twilight fix. Nowadays, information related to New Moon, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and the entire Twilight Saga cast is instantaneous. Let's just say at the current Twilight moment related to Robert Pattinson, the internet is one big unmoderated Twilight Saga message board. Look online at the thousands of Twilight stories about Robert Pattinson and you'll notice that anything about Pattinson can be written at any New Moon time.
Is Robert Pattinson under online siege? Robert Pattinson himself may not feel under siege in the same way, but the name Robert Pattinson is certainly under Twilight siege.
