Sugar Red Drive Survive Michigan Car Accident by Reg Seeton
In the early hours of Sunday, October 25, the members of Sugar Red Drive were involved in a serious accident near Kalamazoo, Michigan when the Sugar Red Drive van hit a guardrail, spun out, and flipped over. Luckily, no one from Sugar Red Drive was killed although bass player Dave Alexander suffered a broken arm and thumb plus a dislocated elbow. Reports of the Sugar Red Drive accident confirm that Alexander underwent surgery in a Kalamazoo hospital on Sunday afternoon while the other three members of Sugar Red Drive and tour manager walked away with minor injuries.
With Sugar Red Drive currently riding high on the charts with their single, "One More Time" from their self-titled debut album, we're glad to hear the Sugar Red Drive guys survived to continue their ascent up the alternative music mountain.
