The Office Spins Off 'Subtle Sexuality' for Web by Troy Rogers
NBC has gotten the network jump on the web with new online shows such as Ctrl and In Gayle We Trust via webisodes and now the latest is from The Office in a new web series music video spin-off called Subtle Sexuality. Featuring The Office co-stars Mindy Kaling, Ed Helms, B.J. Novak, and Ellie Kemper, the band Subtle Sexuality has just dropped their first single, "Male Prima Donna," on the web for those looking for online Office style comedy.
Subtle Sexuality director, Mindy Kaling, steps behind the online NBC cameras for the first time for an off-the-chain video with an epic throwdown from Ed Helms (aka Nard Dog).
Starring Mindy Kaling, Ed Helms, B.J. Novak, and Ellie Kemper, "Subtle Sexuality" melds the webisode format with a music video. Kelly (Kaling) sets out to realize her celebrity dreams - and stick it to her on-again, off-again boyfriend Ryan (Novak) - by starting a girl group and making a video.
Is Kelly the new Beyonce? Will Ryan get his comeuppance? Can Andy (Helms) finally find an audience for his acapella skills? Find out on SubtleSexuality.com.
