Twilight Gets One Day Re-release Ahead of New Moon by Larson Hill
With the Twilight sequel New Moon almost in theaters, and the buzz surrounding Twilight and New Moon stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner at a fever pitch, Summit Entertainment is bringing Twilight back for a one day only Twilight Saga box office event before the New Moon tidal wave takes over the world. Hollywood Reporter reveals that Twilight will be re-released in 2000 theaters on November 19, one day prior to the theatrical debut of New Moon, due to Twilight Saga fan demand.
The HR report showcases a Twilight statement from Summit Entertainment and the reason for the one night only re-release of Twilight ahead of New Moon. "Despite the first film already being on DVD," says a rep from Summit, "fans across the nation have been calling out to see the film once again on the big screen, and the studio is honoring their request." Summit also indicated that the Twilight tickets will be sold at a discount on selected sites.
