Greek Gets Feisty with Mid-Season ‘Friend or Foe’ Finale
by Nadya Vlassoff
ABCFamily’s
critically acclaimed hit, Greek has been riding
high on its season three success and this week’s
Monday, November 2 mid-season finale, “Friend
or Foe,” just might be the baddest episode yet.
Everyone has a score to settle and there will
be more than ruins left in the Greek society as
fraternities and sororities, friends and enemies
fight to the metaphorical Greek death to redeem
and recapture their former glory. It’s a no-holds
barred battle of Greek wills as Omega Chi Delta
and Kappa Tau Gamma have more at stake than just
the newly reformed friendship between their presidents,
Evan and Cappie.
In last week’s episode of Greek, Cappie (Scott Michael Foster) and Casey (Spencer Grammer) finally put an end to the tumultuous, nearly three year relationship and agree to leave their issues behind them to rekindled their rocky romance into an actual, quasi-normal relationship.
Like every war, however, there are casualties and this time it is Evan’s (Jake McDorman) heart that takes the brunt of the news after Cappie and Casey decide that the truth will set them Greek free. Perhaps free of guilt, but Evan is not the only one shocked to hear the news.
Along with several well-placed High School Musical barbs due to the cast inclusion of Oleysa Rulin who played Kelsi Nielson in the popular Disney franchise, Greek’s mid-season finale has plenty to offer Greek fans. There’s nothing like a Song Fest on a college campus as a throwdown between sororities. Combine that with an ultimate Battle Bots challenge, and a college prank gone awry, the mid-season finale of Greek has more than a few surprises in store for its loyal viewers. The biggest one of all, however, will surely give Greek fans a shock since it involves two of the most unlikely Greek cast members.
Since
this episode is aptly titled “Friend or Foe,” Greek
will surely split viewers on whether Casey made
the right choice with Cappie and if Evan will
continue to lose everything, from his money
and Casey to his precarious hold on the Greek
presidency.
As the love triangle continues to cause tension between the three former friends, everyone else in Greek struggles to keep their secrets hidden. Love, friendship, and even brotherhood (or sisterhood for that matter) are all tested and no one will like the results since “Friend or Foe” leaves them stuck behind a brick wall, literally.
There’s no denying that the mid-season ABC Family break of Greek, "Friend or Foe," will leave fans with a slew of unanswered questions and even more Greek cliffhangers.
